Are you an experienced Sheet Metal Worker looking to join a world-class aerospace manufacturer? We’re looking for a highly skilled Sheet Metal Worker who will be involved with completing work for Rolls Royce WR21 gas turbine marine engines.
About the Role
As a Sheet Metal Worker, you’ll be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of complex components using a range of advanced techniques. Working from engineering drawings, you’ll ensure every part is manufactured to exact specifications, with a strong focus on quality, precision, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components to precise engineering drawings.
- Follow and enforce strict aerospace safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Identify and resolve fabrication issues to uphold high-quality output.
- Use specialised tools and machinery to cut, bend, form, mark out, and shape metal sheets to tight tolerances.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production teams to achieve project goals.
- Adhere to work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker, ideally in aerospace or precision manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings, SOPs, and technique sheets.
- Strong commitment to quality and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Track record of meeting production targets.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles (5S).
- NVQ or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline.
- Experience with thin gauge sheet metal (~1mm) is highly desirable.

Mornings:
06:00 to 13:45 - Monday to Thursday
06:00 to 12:00 - Friday
Afternoons:
13:30 to 21:21:15 – Monday to Thursday
11:45 to 17:45 - Friday
